Thank you to all the staff, parents and children who made it into school today.We are hoping to open school as normal tomorrow (Thursday) morning.However if you are unable to get your child to school due to icy and poor road conditions please telephone the office after 9am. Please do not take any risks getting your child to school.
Keeping your child occupied.
Hear your child read, practise their spellings, times tables and number facts.
The children are all learning about the Winter Olympics which will be held in Vancouver, Canada later this winter. Encourage yor child to research about life in Canada(how do they get on in the snow, why do their roads systems continue to work?) and the history of the Winter Olympics.
Forecast is much improved for next week. Let's hope this is the end of the snow. Keep safe,
